About This Product

Cartalax® is a Khavinson Cytogen®: a synthetic short-peptide complex (AC-4) made from the amino acids alanine, glutamic acid and aspartic acid, modelled on peptides of cartilage tissue.

It is believed to support the normal condition of cartilage and joint comfort. Cartalax is taken orally as capsules and is often chosen by active adults and people who want to support joint mobility as they age.

Why Cartalax?

Cartilage is the smooth, flexible tissue that covers the ends of bones in joints and cushions the spine. It lets joints glide and absorbs shock, but it has a limited blood supply and renews slowly, so it is sensitive to wear and age.

Areas of Scientific Interest

  • Short synthetic peptides and cartilage cells in laboratory models
  • Joint mobility and comfort with age
  • Connective-tissue renewal

These are areas of biological investigation, not guarantees of clinical benefit.

Cartalax belongs to a family of short peptide bioregulators developed by researchers associated with Prof. Vladimir Khavinson at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. Researchers have investigated how short peptides from specific tissues may interact with the cells of that tissue and influence gene activity, mostly in cell and animal studies. Much of this work has been published in Russian-language literature, and we are not aware of published controlled human trials of Cartalax itself, so the research is best read as background rather than proof of effect. The research literature describes the AED tripeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp) in connection with this complex; this is research context, not label text.

What is Cartalax?
Cartalax is a synthetic cartilage peptide bioregulator from the Khavinson Cytogen® line (AC-4), taken orally as capsules.
Is Cartalax an injectable peptide?
No. Cartalax is an oral dietary supplement in capsule form. It is a different class from injectable research peptides or GLP-1 medications.
How should I take it?
Adults: 1–2 capsules 1–2 times a day with meals for 10–30 days. A repeat course is advisable after 4–6 months.
What is the difference between the 20- and 60-capsule packs?
Both contain the same capsules; the 60-capsule pack simply holds more.
Can I take Cartalax with other bioregulators or supplements?
Many people use several bioregulators, but combinations have not been studied as such. Check with a healthcare professional, especially if you take medications.
